Introduction
PGA TOUR Playoff Challenge
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Welcome to the PGA TOUR Playoff Challenge (the "Contest"), presented by Fantasy Sports Acquisition, LLC. ("Fanball") and Turner Sports, Inc. (“Turner”) on behalf of PGA TOUR Licensed Properties ("PGA TOUR") (Fantasy Sports Acquisition, LLC, PGA TOUR Licensed Properties, and Turner Sports, Inc., collectively, the "Contest Entities"), where you can pick a team of your four favorite golfers and compete for the overall grand prize. How do you win? By fielding the highest-scoring team during the four tournaments of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Participants accumulate points based on the FedExCup points their four golfers earn in each of the four playoff tournaments, as defined in the "Scoring" section below. Before the first playoff tournament, each participant will select four golfers from three tiers as follows: two golfers from Tier 1 (consisting of the top 15 ranked golfers in the FedExCup playoffs), one golfer from Tier 2 (consisting of golfers ranked 16 through 30 in the FedExCup playoffs), and one golfer from Tier 3 (consisting of golfers ranked 31 through 144 in the FedExCup playoffs). Once the Contest begins, at one hour prior to the first tee time of the 2007 Barclays PGA TOUR event (“Contest Start Time”), no changes may be made to a team’s golfer selections.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Contest, you must be (a) a Registered User; (b) a legal resident of one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or Washington DC (for purposes of clarity, Puerto Rico is expressly excluded); and (c) at least eighteen (18) years of age or older (except in Alabama and Nebraska where you must be 19 years of age or older) at the date of entry in this Contest. For purposes of these Official Rules, "Registered User" means a person who has successfully completed the registration form and has obtained a User Identification ("ID") and associated password ("Password") on one or more of the following websites: fantasy.pgatour.com and/or PGATOUR.com. Void where prohibited by law. Excluded residents may play, but are NOT eligible to receive any prizes.
Employees of the Contest Entities and each of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each are not eligible to win. Immediate family member is defined as a parent, sibling or any person residing in the same household as an employee of the Contest Entities. Void where prohibited.

The PGA TOUR Playoff Challenge is FREE to play.

Golf Team
Entry Deadline
To enter the Contest, you must complete the registration and entry forms available at the Contest website. There is a limit of 5 entries allowed per individual in the Contest. All entries must be submitted via the Internet and must be received by the Contest Start Time. Contest registration will be available beginning Monday, August 6, 2007.
Selecting Your Team
During signup, you will be required to choose a team of four golfers from three tiers as follows: two golfers from Tier 1 (consisting of the top 15 ranked golfers in the FedExCup playoffs), one golfer from Tier 2 (consisting of golfers ranked 16 through 30 in the FedExCup playoffs), and one golfer from Tier 3 (consisting of golfers ranked 31 through 144 in the FedExCup playoffs). The three tiers of golfers will be available beginning Monday, August 20, 2007, after 1 PM ET (“Player Draft Start Time”). For participants who register prior to this time, you will be notified via email once the golfer tiers are available so that you can select your team. You may make unlimited changes to your four golfer selections between the Player Draft Start Time and the Contest Start Time. Once the Contest Start Time passes (at approximately 7 AM ET), no changes can be made to your golfer selections for the remainder of the Contest.
Entering Your Tiebreaker Predictions
During signup, in addition to your four golfer selections, you will be prompted (1) to predict the total number of strokes by the winner of THE TOUR Championship and (2) to predict the number of strokes by which the winner wins THE TOUR Championship (the margin of victory). These two tiebreaker predictions will be used to break any ties that occur for the overall grand prize as described in the “Scoring” section below.
Scoring
Point Values
Your team will accumulate points equal to the FedExCup points earned by the four golfers on your team for each of the four tournaments of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. If one or more of your golfers fails to advance to the next tournament, your team will no longer receive any additional points from the eliminated golfer(s). Standings are based on each participant’s total accumulated points. The participant with the greatest number of points is the winner.
Ties
In the event that there is a tie for the overall grand prize, the following tiebreakers will be used:
- The team whose tiebreaker prediction for the total number of strokes by the winner of THE TOUR Championship is the closest to the actual number without exceeding it will win.
- If a tie still exists, the team whose tiebreaker prediction for the number of strokes by which the winner wins THE TOUR Championship is the closest to the actual number without exceeding it will win.
- The team whose tier 3 golfer has the highest cumulative points during the four events for the FedExCup Playoffs.
- The team whose tier 2 golfer has the highest cumulative points during the four events for the FedExCup Playoffs.
- The team whose tier 1 golfers have the highest cumulative points during the four events for the FedExCup Playoffs.
Prizes
Overall Grand Prize
The participant who accumulates the most points according to the “Scoring” section above (the Grand Prize Winner) will win: an 8-day/7-night trip prize package for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest to attend the 2008 Sony Open in Hawaii, from Monday, January 7, 2008, to Monday, January 14, 2008. As part of the prize package, the Grand Prize Winner earns one (1) Pro-Am spot that may be filled by either the Grand Prize Winner or its guest, and who will play with a TOUR pro during the Wednesday Pro-Am Tournament. In order to be eligible for the Wednesday Pro-Am Tournament, the participant must have a USGA certified handicap of +27 or better. Handicap must be certified by a club pro or handicap chairman, and registered with the USGA. The prize package also includes round-trip airfare for two adults, a rental car, and hotel accommodations. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") for the complete package for two is $20,000.00. Contest Entities reserve the right to award substitute prizes of a substantially similar ARV. As detailed below.
Certain Prize Restrictions
Actual value of trip may vary based on point of departure. Certain travel restrictions may apply. If the Grand Prize Winner resides within a 100-mile radius of Honolulu, Hawaii, ground transportation may be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. The Grand Prize Winner and guest will be required to travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. The Grand Prize Winner and guest must be available to travel on dates specified by PGA TOUR. Travel arrangements must be made through PGA TOUR. The guests must be eighteen (18) years of age (or, in the case of legal residents of certain states or Washington DC where the age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such age of majority) and will be required to execute and return liability/publicity (unless prohibited by law) releases prior to ticketing. No assignment, transfer, conversion to cash or cash redemption or substitution of the Overall Grand Prize is permitted, except Administrator reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any of its components with a prize of comparable or greater value. Prizes are solely for personal use and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion. Golf and accommodations are based on availability. Any difference between the ARV set forth above and the actual costs of the prize will not be awarded.
Legal Disclaimers
Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and Publicity Release.
The Grand Prize Winner must complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release (collectively, the "Release Forms") within five (5) days of notification of winning the Prize. Failure to return Release Forms timely, or if Prize notification or the Prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if the Grand Prize Winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, may result in disqualification and awarding of the prize to the entrant with the next highest score.
Travel Companion Liability Release and Travel Companion Publicity Release.
The travel companion must complete, execute and return a Travel Companion Liability Release, and where lawful, a Travel Companion Publicity Release (collectively, the "Travel Companion Release Forms") along with the Release Forms prior to issuance of travel documents within five (5) days of notification of being selected as the travel companion. Failure to return Travel Companion Release Forms timely may prevent the travel companion from participating in the trip.
Publicity Release Terms.
Except where prohibited by law, the Grand Prize Winner's acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Contest Entities to use the Grand Prize Winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Entrants agree to Administrator's use of their names and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Winner Notification.
Notification will be made for the Overall Grand Prize within four (4) weeks following the completion of the Contest to allow time for the verification of all data and scores. The potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified by phone or by email. If the potential Grand Prize Winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during five (5) days from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate Grand Prize Winner selected in accordance with these Official Rules.
